Call for Symposia
Deadline for the submission of a symposium proposal has been extended to March 2, 2012.
The 4th Conference of Mediterranean Neuroscience Society (MNS) will be held from September 30th to October 3rd 2012 in Istanbul, Turkey.
Symposia dealing with all areas of neuroscience research are invited.
The symposium proposer should submit a proposal containing:
- the title of the planned symposium,
- the name(s) and addresse(s) of the organizer(s),
- a short description of the aims of the symposium and the names,
- addresses and topics of the speakers to be invited.
The MNS strives to strengthen exchanges between Mediterranean neuroscientists, promote education in the neurosciences and increase public awareness of progress made. The participation of scientists from the South countries as organizers and speakers of symposia is therefore encouraged. The gender distribution within each proposal will also be one selection criterion. The maximum number of speakers should be 5 and the number of words in the abstract should be 250 words. Kindly note that speakers should pay their registration fees themselves.

The MNS, the N€uromed consortium, and the ISIS consortium will provide stipends for young qualified researchers.
